Green/EFA Co-Presidents
Monica Frassoni and Daniel Cohn-Bendit were today re-elected as Co-Presidents of
the Greens/European Free Alliance Group in the European Parliament. MEPs voted in Brussels to re-elect the
Group's new executive board or 'Bureau'.
Re-elected as Vice-Presidents of the Group were Green MEPs:
Pierre Jonckheer (Belgium - Ecolo), Jean Lambert (UK) and Claude Turmes (Luxembourg). German Green Heide Rühle
was re-elected as treasurer of the Group.
The European Free Alliance will elect a President who will also
be first Vice-President of the Group tomorrow. That person will take over the position from Nelly Maes of the
Flemish Spirit party.
